Job Summary
ACES Youth Supervisor oversees the ACES program for young men 16–24 in Harlem and the Bronx, supervising youth workers and a parent advocate; hiring/training staff; developing programming with milestones; coaching in motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, youth development, and CBT-based groups; ensuring timely data entry and up-to-date case records; maintaining safety protocols; collaborating with supervisors and the Director on program consistency and community referrals; engaging with funders and court stakeholders; conducting weekly supervision and field presence; planning trips with youth workers and participants; and supporting staff through coaching, professional development, and team culture.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience or 5 years of youth work experience with youth and young adults impacted by the criminal legal system
- Active/valid driver’s license; ability to drive a 15-passenger van
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work in the field
- Spanish language is a plus
