Job Summary
Unload incoming trucks, put away merchandise, and maintain assigned departments by keeping them clean, organized, and fully stocked. Execute daily operational goals with a "Speed is Life" attitude, moving with urgency while paying close attention to details. Serve customers in assigned departments or storewide by greeting them immediately, answering questions, and assisting with large items. Actively participate in daily huddle meetings, share improvement ideas, and promote the Ace Rewards program. Remove promotional tags, restock displays, watch end caps, and handle special orders for non-stock items. Collaborate with the team to prevent shoplifting and assist in training peers. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service
- Strong organizational skills with a passion for details
- Willing to learn all areas of the store and help train others
- Proven track record of being a team player
- A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required
- Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties
- Move and handle merchandise up to 40 pounds, and fixtures throughout the store
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience of various departments is strongly desired
- Bilingual (Spanish) verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred
