Job Summary
Deliver and pickup rental equipment and customer purchases using a company vehicle, including operating rental equipment (e.g., mowers, small loaders, tillers) for loading/unloading and demonstrations, and navigate routes to ensure timely, accurate deliveries. Provide friendly customer service while representing the ACE Hardware brand, follow safety regulations and store procedures, and complete documentation for deliveries and pickups. Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check. Comfortable with physical work and basic math, and able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
- Insurable under company vehicle insurance
- Some rental equipment knowledge
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
