Scan customer selections, verify prices and quantities, accept payment, and issue receipts while answering inquiries about products, promotions, and item locations. Provide helpful information, stock items as needed, and respond to complaints with genuine concern. Assist the Store Director in maintaining a positive atmosphere for customers and associates while working safely. Greet customers sincerely with a friendly manner, engage in casual conversation, and show respect for their purchases. Thank customers and solve concerns to ensure satisfaction. Process orders accurately and efficiently, handle all tender and coupons properly, and package purchases in an organized fashion. Keep the workstation and surrounding area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Perform fixed activities and follow all store, department, and safety policies.
