Job Summary
ACE 4th Grade Teacher at Miller Language Academy within Lake Worth ISD is responsible for delivering rigorous, standards-based instruction to promote intellectual, social, and physical growth, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, employing project-based learning, assessing student mastery with multiple tools, maintaining accurate records, managing classrooms, engaging families, collaborating with peers, supervising aides/ volunteers, and facilitating professional development. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, valid Texas teaching certification for the grade level, and two years of certified teaching experience. The teacher will use district curriculum and data to accelerate student achievement, participate in district and campus events, and uphold professional conduct and responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area
- Two years of certified teaching experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations is preferred
- Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings
