Job Summary
ACE 3rd Grade Teacher delivers rigorous, standards-based instruction at Miller Language Academy as part of the ACE initiative, differentiating instruction and employing project-based learning to accelerate student achievement. Responsibilities include assessing student mastery with diverse tools, maintaining accurate records, managing classroom behavior, engaging families and the community, collaborating with peers, supervising aides and student teachers, and adhering to district curriculum and assessment protocols to promote intellectual, social, and physical growth for all students.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Certification: Valid Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area required.
- Experience: Two years of certified teaching experience required.
