Job Summary
ACE 3rd Grade Teacher at Lake Worth ISD delivers rigorous, standards-based instruction at the ACE campus initiative to accelerate student achievement. Responsibilities include using well-designed, standards-aligned lesson plans, differentiating instruction, employing project-based learning, and employing multiple assessment tools to monitor mastery. Manage classroom behavior, engage families through open communication, participate in school events, collaborate on curriculum development, supervise aides/student teachers, and refer students for district evaluations as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid Texas Teacher Certificate with at least two years of certified teaching experience; exemption from FLSA and compliance with district professional development expectations are noted.
