Job Summary
ACE 2nd Grade Teacher delivers standards-based, rigorous instruction using well-designed lesson plans, differentiates to meet diverse learners, and employs project-based learning. Responsibilities include assessing student mastery with multiple tools, maintaining records, monitoring and proctoring standardized tests, managing classrooms effectively, engaging families and the community, collaborating with peers, and supervising aides/volunteers. Requires a Bachelor's degree, valid Texas teaching certificate for the grade/subject, and two years of certified teaching experience. Location: Fort Worth, TX. The role emphasizes instructional excellence, data-driven practice, and professional collaboration to accelerate student achievement at Lake Worth ISD’s ACE campuses.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area
- Two years of certified teaching experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
