Job Summary
ACE 1st Grade Bilingual Teacher at Lake Worth ISD delivering standards-based instruction to accelerate student achievement. Responsibilities include differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, employing rigorous instructional strategies and project-based learning, assessing student mastery with formative assessments and standardized tests, maintaining accurate records, managing classroom behavior, engaging families through open communication, collaborating with peers on curriculum development, supervising aides/volunteers and student teachers, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid Texas Teacher Certificate, at least two years of certified teaching experience, and bilingual fluency is beneficial. The role requires Fort Worth, TX placement at Miller Language Academy with in-person duties under ACE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas Teacher Certificate appropriate for grade level and/or subject area
- Two years of certified teaching experience
