Job Summary
Provide direct service in an Intensive GLE residential setting, helping persons served overcome barriers to independent living and prepare for community reintegration. Implement treatment plan interventions as assigned by the Clinical Program Director, administer medications per MAP policies, and perform crisis interventions when necessary. Liaise with families, assist with medical and psychiatric appointments, and facilitate weekly group meetings including menu input. Manage physical site maintenance, grocery shopping, and meal preparation while ensuring a safe, clean environment. Act as a Medication, Safety, and Human Rights Officer based on shift schedule, and support the Program Director with new resident and staff orientations. Complete all required documentation and incident reports.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must possess and maintain adequate insurance (if using personal vehicle)
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives

- MAP certification required within 150 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a human service discipline
- One year experience as a residential counselor or related experience in a setting working with PS facing mental health challenges and medical issues
- One to two years of job-specific experience in human services field
- Bilingual/bicultural applicants
- Applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions
