Job Summary
Provide direct immigration representation to individuals filing applications with USCIS; conduct office, clinic, and outreach intake including database entry and screening for financial eligibility; provide information and referrals; assist with translation for USCIS interviews; open pre-litigation and litigation files, draft retainers and client documents, schedule and explain documents to clients, and maintain thorough client communications and notes in LASROC’s LegalServer. Participate in CLE and training, stay updated on immigration policy, perform case research, assist with community education, support other LASROC units, and perform additional duties as assigned. Must have BA/BS and strong attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and excellent oral/written communication; must be a team player and able to drive to USCIS in Buffalo, NY.
