Job Summary
Conduct psychosocial and mental health assessments to identify barriers and strengths, then provide evidence-based counselling using approaches like CBT-informed strategies and motivational interviewing. Deliver psychoeducation and practical strategies to support client wellbeing and resilience while assisting them to sustain employment and navigate workplace challenges. Liaise with medical practitioners, community organisations, and external services, and work closely with Job Coaches to align on client goals. Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in line with quality and compliance standards, and contribute to training and capacity-building initiatives for staff and employers.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) status or eligibility for this level
- Strong clinical judgement and experience in psychosocial assessment
- Experience working with complex presentations and diverse client groups
- Commitment to evidence‐based practice and client‐centred care
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Good organisational and reporting abilities
- A current Australian driver's licence
- You must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident at the time of applying
