Job Summary
Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships. Produce monthly or quarterly management accounts and VAT returns. Review and complete complex bookkeeping for clients across corporate and charity sectors. Supervise and review the work of junior team members while completing basic corporation tax and self-assessment returns. This hands-on role offers long-term career progression within an award-winning accountancy practice in Hertfordshire.
Required Qualifications
- relevant previous experience in a practice
- working towards or have completed their ACA/ACCA qualification
- be equivalently experienced
- Strong experience within an accountancy practice carrying out bookkeeping, accounts preparation, VAT and tax preparation
- 2 years+ practical experience within an accountancy practice environment
- Prior experience of cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage or Xero
