Job Summary
Support customer and partner billing operations, including invoice generation, distribution, payment application, collections support, and accounts receivable aging analysis. Prepare and maintain account reconciliations for Revenue and AR-related accounts, investigate discrepancies, and assist with month-end close activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue support, and reporting. Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries, support external audit requests, and contribute to the development and enhancement of billing processes and internal controls. Maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with company policies, and participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementations. Work in a collaborative remote environment while collaborating effectively across teams to help design scalable accounting processes.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of AR related accounting experience
- billing or general accounting experience
- experience in SaaS or high-growth tech environments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or CPA-track
- Strong understanding of US GAAP principles
- experience with general ledger accounting entries
- experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
- Accurate, thorough, and organized with a strong sense of accountability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
