Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Team Leader (Maternity Cover – Fixed Term) leads end-to-end AR activities during a fixed-term maternity cover, balancing hands-on operational leadership with team management and process improvements, including migration of AR processes to NetSuite. Responsibilities include owning end-to-end AR processes to ensure KPI delivery, maintaining robust financial controls, supporting NetSuite transition and testing, reviewing and improving processes during migration, driving reductions in aged debt and improving cash performance, managing invoicing and departmental mailboxes, allocating workload and driving team performance, conducting 1:1 coaching and development, identifying training needs related to system changes, and building strong stakeholder relationships to support pricing initiatives. Key skills include proven AR leadership, NetSuite proficiency, MS Office, strong communication, numeracy/literacy, relationship-building, change leadership, self-motivation, attention to detail, adaptability, organization, and analytical problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Accounts Receivable leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of NetSuite
- Competent with Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
- Competent in building & maintaining relationships with internal & external customers
- Self-starter, proactive with strong attention to detail
- Adaptable, and flexible in approach
- Strong organisational skills & ability to prioritise
- Analytical and able to identify issues, risks and opportunities for doing things differently
- Proven working experience in an Accounts Receivable role
- Financial transaction experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting Systems (preferably AX)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamix 365
- Strong leadership
- Experience supporting system/process migrations
