Job Summary
Supervisor-led Accounts Receivable role supporting healthcare clients with denial analysis, workflow oversight, and performance management. Responsible for monitoring high-dollar accounts, identifying trends in unpaid or denied claims, and implementing remedial actions. Leads team meetings, ensures adherence to budgets and productivity/quality standards, and collaborates with internal departments (Coding, Billing, Revenue Integrity) to optimize billing and revenue outcomes. Emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and leveraging data to meet client and organizational goals. Starts with leadership duties for daily AR operations, with a focus on mentoring staff, driving performance, and using AI/tools to lean into process enhancements. Remote nationwide position with potential travel to client or corporate locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- CRCR certification or other approved job-relevant certification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in medical collections, denials & appeals, or physician/hospital operations
- Knowledge of claims review and analysis; working knowledge of revenue cycle; experience with payer websites and DDE Medicare system
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team, with responsibility for hiring, performance management, and achieving KPI/SLAs
