Job Summary
Conduct daily verbal and written communication with participants, employers, external auditors, and legal counsel to ensure benefits entitlement. Post employer contributions and participant self-payments, then reconcile reports and make deposits. Interpret rules from Plan Documents and pursue collection of delinquent contributions and fees. Create audit billings for employers upon receipt of final audits and maintain documentation correspondence with business agents and attorneys. Prepare and distribute required forms, reports, and documents. This role involves problem solving, customer service, and finance experience within a non-exempt position offering health, 401(k), and paid time off benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read and interpret Plan Documents and SPDs
- Minimal travel to other office locations for training opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Accounts Receivable experience is preferred
- Experience with Taft-Hartley Funds preferred
- Enjoy working with the public via phone and in person
