Job Summary
Prepare and send out daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly cycle counts while recording, storing, and analyzing information using accounting software. Receive payments, post amounts to customer accounts, and reconcile credit card transactions by debiting, crediting, and totaling data in spreadsheets and databases. Research and answer inquiries regarding accounts, locate delinquent customers, and submit invoice data in required formats. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at $18.00–$20.00 per hour. This role supports Spee Dee Delivery's standard, next-day ground delivery operations with a focus on accuracy and customer communication.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to list up to 15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Clerical or administrative experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
- 1+ year of related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced computer and keyboarding skills
- Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
