Job Summary
Own the AR function for our Massachusetts operations in a full-time, on-site role. Generate and submit invoices to insurance carriers, TPAs, commercial property managers, and customers; manage AR aging and collections; track insurance payments and disputes; post payments and adjustments; prepare aging summaries and AR reports; coordinate with Project Managers to ensure documentation supports invoices; support month-end close; and identify process improvements to reduce DSO and improve cash flow. Requires 2+ years of dedicated AR experience, proficiency with QuickBooks/Sage/NetSuite (or similar), strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivots, reconciliation), professional communication with customers and carriers, attention to detail, and an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent experience. Salary is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, paid weekly, with full benefits; Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; Salem, MA on-site.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of dedicated accounts receivable experience (invoicing, aging management, collections)
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, reconciliation)
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers and carriers
- High attention to detail and invoice accuracy
- Clean background
- Experience billing insurance companies or TPAs is a plus
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent hands-on experience
