Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary
Process customer invoices accurately and enter payments via cheque, EFT, or credit card. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding balances, and investigate discrepancies between accounting systems and dispatch records. Reconcile invoice and payment information, maintain accurate customer account documentation, and assist with month-end reporting. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate billing and support general accounts receivable administration. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer within Mario's Towing Ltd.'s accounting team in Kelowna. The position requires a minimum of five years of experience and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Experience processing invoices, customer payments, and account reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and data entry skills
- Experience investigating invoice and payment discrepancies
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience using accounting software
