Job Summary

Part-time Accounts Receivable Specialist for Food & Friends in the Washington, DC area. Responsibilities include reviewing claims reports and entering invoices, reviewing daily bank deposits, importing revenue files into Sage Intacct, entering deposits, updating AR and stock-donation worksheets and the FSA tracker for monthly financials, reconciling year-to-date revenue totals, and assisting the Controller with audits. Requires a BA/BS or two years of relevant experience, solid AR knowledge, ability to learn accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus), strong data-entry accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment. 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule, on-site. Hourly compensation range of $39.00–$41.00; benefits not included. Metro accessible. Equal Opportunity Employer.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a relevant field OR at least two years of directly relevant experience
  • solid understanding of accounts receivable principles and procedures
  • ability to learn and use accounting software (Sage Intacct a plus)
  • ability to input large amounts of data with high accuracy
  • ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
