Accounts Receivable Specialist- Oral Surgery

Job Summary
Process UB04 and HCFA-1500 claims through the billing system, scrubbing data to ensure accuracy and maximize reimbursement. Submit claims to third-party payers, intermediaries, and guarantors while analyzing daily aging reports to follow up on non-payment accounts. Investigate denied claims, resolve payment discrepancies, and manage appeals via payer websites to optimize cash flow. Maintain accurate billing records and report submission trends to management in compliance with federal, state, and network policies. Full-time, days, 40 hours/week Mon-Fri with flexible hours between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM. Remote or hybrid remote opportunity available for local candidates after on-site training.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to speak, read and write English
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Direct experience with Microsoft Office Suite and web navigation and /or web based applications
- Experience with third party billing in a hospital similar medical facility or physician's office is preferred

Desired Qualifications
- Medical Billing/Coding Program certificate preferred
- Dental/oral surgery experience is preferred
