Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary
Prepare, verify, and process standard and non-standard AIA invoices, code billing documents, and manage subcontractor payments. Communicate with customers and subcontractors regarding account information, resolve billing discrepancies, and follow up on past-due invoices to ensure prompt payments. Set up new project folders in Trackers, maintain accurate records within established systems, and process documentation to support account requirements. Enter tracking data into Excel sheets and submit final payment information for supervisor approval before routing to accounts payable. Meet established performance goals, deadlines, and company policies while collaborating with sales, project management, and accounting teams.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 3 or more years of related experience
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Construction billing experience
- 3+ years of construction billing experience
- Must be strong in Excel
- Proficiency in English
- Must meet Monthly Deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive knowledge of, or the ability to quickly learn company's services and procedures
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Organizational skills
- A sense of urgency
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to meet requirements and deadlines with minimal oversight and direction
Desired Qualifications
- Some College
- Experience with construction 3rd party ERP Platforms (GC Pay, Procore, Textura)
- NetSuite accounting
- Other major accounting software experience
- Spanish language skills
- Results-driven

- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
