Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of high-volume, chargeback-intensive key accounts by serving as the primary AR point of contact for assigned accounts. Own the full AR lifecycle, including invoice verification, collections, chargeback resolution, reconciliation, and cash application support. Maintain organized customer statements and monitor aging reports daily to follow up on past-due balances and escalate problem accounts. Support cash forecasting with accurate collection estimates and assist with year-end reserve calculations. Reconcile large customer returns and handle ad hoc projects such as warranty reconciliation and customer master maintenance. This role requires 2+ years of AR experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Burton offers health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k match, and a discounted season pass.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounts receivable, collections, or related finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data organization
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills with all internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned accounts
- This is an on-site role, based in Burlington, VT
- Will be required to be on site at Burlington HQ at least 4 days per week
- Candidates MUST reside in one of these locations at the time of hire
