Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Specialist sought to manage payments, credit, and collections for Ludlum Measurements in Sweetwater, TX. Responsibilities include posting payments (checks, ACH, wire, credit cards), evaluating creditworthiness and setting/adjusting credit limits, monitoring AR aging and overdue accounts, communicating with customers on balances and terms, reconciling accounts with sales and customer service, reviewing invoices and aging reports, assisting with month-end close, ensuring policy compliance, and processing sales commission statements. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency with accounting software and Excel, and the ability to handle confidential information. Prior AR/collections experience (2+ years) and relevant accounting education (associate or bachelor’s preferred) are desired. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred)
