Job Summary
Compile customer accounts owed to the company and input figures into the accounting system while performing clerical support for accounts receivables. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, transfer calls, and relay messages. Prepare and review written documents including daily logs, business letters, and reports to ensure accuracy. Enter and locate work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems. Maintain accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial data and complete period-end closing procedures. Code documents according to company policies and generate finance/accounting reports from the computer system as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience is required
- Demonstrates strong computer skills
