Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary
Manage accurate and timely invoicing and credit processing for customer accounts Bullfrog, Balfour, and Seacliff, while performing advanced cash application, account reconciliations, and resolution of unapplied cash. Proactively monitor AR aging to identify risk trends and drive resolution of past-due balances across the Envest portfolio. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales and Finance to resolve issues and support internal control processes, annual audits, and cash-flow forecasting. Optimize Salesforce and accounting systems through automation and reporting tool integration. This role supports Envest Corp.'s renewable-energy projects across North America.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or a similar finance role
- Experience with daily cash application and obtaining remittance information to meet audit standards
- Proven experience in collections, including contacting customers, managing follow-ups, and scheduling calls with customers and Sales Representatives
- Experience supporting monthly, quarterly, or annual audits
- Hands-on experience reviewing projects and coordinating billing with cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and compliance requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
