Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary
Post payments to the SAP Accounts Receivable subledger and general ledger; investigate issues related to non-payment and payment discrepancies; reconcile accounts at month-end and assist with management reporting. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, advise collectors/management on payment issues, and support multiple tasks simultaneously. May participate in special projects and assist the Accounts Receivable team with collecting invoice payments; travel less than 10% as needed. Requires Associates degree (preferred) and 3+ years of B2B AR/collections experience, strong communication skills, ERP/SAP experience, and proficiency with Excel/Word; ability to work independently or as part of a team in a normal office environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred
- Minimum three (3) years commercial collections experience on a business-to-business basis
- Minimum of three (3) years Accounts Receivable experience in a business-to-business environment, utilizing advanced ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and Word
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work as part of a team and/or independently
- Detail oriented and flexible
Desired Qualifications
