Job Summary
Complete Care Center and Assisted Living billing and collection, posting cash and ancillaries accurately, and generating private pay statements. Submit claims to all responsible payers, perform assigned collections, and manage days outstanding to meet organizational requirements. Identify billing issues causing payment delays and correct them while performing closing functions timely. Utilize DDE, MN-ITS, Excel, and third-party payer websites to execute these duties and meet manager-assigned deadlines. Participate in internal committees, staff training programs, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of Skilled Nursing Facility billing experience
- Medicare A, Managed Care, Medicaid billing experience
- Excel knowledge and knowledge on creating spreadsheets and formula usage
- DDE
- MN-ITS
- Third Party payer websites
