Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for managing invoicing, collections, payment application, and reporting to maintain cash flow. Responsibilities include issuing invoices, following up on overdue accounts, negotiating payment terms, applying customer payments, reconciling AR aging, serving as the primary billing contact, generating AR reports, ensuring accurate billing with cross-functional teams, and identifying process improvements. Requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and advanced Excel/ERP software skills; 5+ years AR/finance experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar finance role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to receivables
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
