Job Summary
Review, post, and send client invoices while analyzing aging reports to proactively reach out on open balances. Apply payments and credits accurately, handle cheque deposits, and respond promptly to customer inquiries. Collaborate across departments to resolve issues, serve as backup during vacations, and spot process improvements. Pick up and distribute mail from Surrey and downtown Vancouver offices twice weekly. Maintain strict confidentiality and take on assigned projects. This role supports the Controller in keeping receivables accurate and client relationships strong within a team-first culture.
Required Qualifications
- A post-secondary accounting diploma
- 1–2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Sound judgment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- The motivation to take initiative
- A team-first mindset
- The ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High proficiency with Google Sheets and MS Excel
- Reliable transportation
- A valid driver's licence
