Job Summary
Conduct outbound collection calls and manage electronic correspondence to reduce receivable delinquencies from the existing client base. Resolve customer billing issues, disputes, and discrepancies by researching cash application problems and working with Project Managers and Account Managers. Post sales invoices after product shipments, reconcile prepayment ledgers at month end, and determine proper disposition of unapplied cash. Prepare write-off requests for management approval and maintain documentation for the bad debt reserve. Provide support for internal and external audits while promoting professional relationships with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in credit & collections
- Prior experience should include the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of success in a high-volume A/R role
- ERP experience
- Must have in-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test which include screening for illegal drugs and marijuana
