Job Summary
Communicate with dealer account contacts to identify and resolve overdue payment issues while building strong relationships. Accurately apply dealer payments to ensure AR statements are correct and interact with vendors to reconcile unidentified deductions. Maintain continuous communication with AR Management regarding unusual large past due issues and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires 2-4 years of business experience, strong math aptitude, and proficiency with spreadsheet applications and accounting systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years related experience in a business environment
- High school graduate or equivalent or equivalent work experience
- Experience with spreadsheet applications, accounting systems and previous exposure to customer service situations
- Excellent accounting and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service focus and skill set
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with internal and external contacts, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to learn the automated systems used by LMC and customer/dealers
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and initiate work
- Keep a positive and open mindset
- Strong math aptitude including ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and work accurately with numbers
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel and Word)
- Ability to create spreadsheet applications with basic formulas
