Job Summary

Accounts Receivable Representative handles billing and collections, posts customer payments (cash, checks, credit cards, EFT), verifies account discrepancies, maintains confidential information, sets up new accounts, resolves invoice issues, prepares and distributes invoices, processes credit memos, maintains customer files, ensures accuracy of billings against sales agreements, serves as backup to the AR Supervisor, and performs month-end duties. Requires strong math, organization, attention to detail, and good communication/interpersonal skills; proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office. Typical full-time schedule in an office environment with occasional overtime.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of accounts receivable or related experience
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
