Accounts Receivable Officer

Job Summary
Monitor and manage all incoming payments from customers while performing daily banking to ensure correct allocation. Send statements and payment reminders, reconcile the accounts receivable ledger, and follow up on overdue invoices by liaising with clients regarding payment issues. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and financial transactions, assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, and support audits and compliance requirements by providing necessary documentation. This role requires more than five years of experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer, a Certificate IV in bookkeeping, and strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Hands-on experience with the Pronto Accounting System is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate IV in bookkeeping or equivalent
- More than 5 years experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Hands-on experience with Pronto Accounting System (essential or highly preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
