Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and revenue cycle operations for Gracelight Community Health, including billing, payment posting, collections, denial management, and AR follow-up. Monitor revenue cycle performance metrics (aging, denial rates, net collection rate) and implement strategies to improve efficiency and financial outcomes. Ensure compliant billing and reimbursement practices in line with policies and regulations; collaborate with clinical, coding, and finance teams to resolve issues and improve claim accuracy. Identify root causes of denials and delays, lead denial management and appeals, and drive process improvements. Supervise AR and billing staff, provide coaching and development, and implement workflows to enhance efficiency and consistency. Prepare revenue cycle analyses and reports for leadership, support payer relations, and enhance the patient financial experience. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with sound judgment. This role is fully onsite at Gracelight Community Health in Los Angeles, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle operations experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience in AR/revenue cycle
- Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding, and payer requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Epic/Sage/Crystal Reports is a plus
