Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day accounts receivable and revenue cycle operations, including billing, payment posting, collections, denial management, and AR follow-up; monitor revenue cycle performance metrics and implement strategies to improve financial outcomes; ensure compliant billing and reimbursement per policies and regulations; collaborate with clinical, coding, and finance teams to resolve issues and improve claim accuracy and reimbursement; identify root causes of denials and delays and develop corrective action plans; supervise AR/billing staff, provide training and performance management; develop and maintain revenue cycle workflows and procedures; prepare reports and provide leadership with insights for improvement; maintain relationships with payers and internal departments to support issue resolution and efficient billing; enhance patient financial experience through clear communication and timely follow-up; protect confidentiality of patient and financial information; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
