Job Summary
Oversee and execute FranConnect's global order-to-cash strategy by developing collection strategies that maximize cash flow and reduce invoice aging. Manage day-to-day account maintenance, including NetSuite sales order approvals, invoice generation, and payment processing for ACH and credit cards. Proactively resolve payment disputes, identify root causes of late payments, and cultivate relationships with customer personnel and internal sales teams. Establish internal controls, develop actionable reports for the sales team, and lead special projects to improve payment timeliness. Forecast collections to support cash flow planning and participate in annual financial audits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of accounts receivable management and/or collections experience that involved manager-level thinking as well as processing day-to-day transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel (i.e., manipulating large data sets, pivot tables, VLOOKUP function, IF function, SUMIF function, etc.)
- Experience working in a small-business and/or fast-paced environment with the ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines
- Experience working in an ERP system
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, including a demonstrated level of comfort having sensitive/difficult conversations with customers
- Use of good judgment with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change; ability and willingness to work extended hours as necessary to meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of and daily use of Claude a plus
- NetSuite experience is a major plus
- Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
