Accounts Receivable Intern - French Speaker (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Intern role supporting the French market in Lisbon. Responsibilities include processing and allocating incoming payments to customer accounts, monitoring overdue receivables, following up on payment discrepancies, reconciling customer accounts, preparing AR reports and KPI dashboards, communicating with customers, sales teams and external partners regarding billing queries and payment terms, and assisting with month-end closing activities. Required skills include strong Excel proficiency, familiarity with SAP/ERP systems, accounting knowledge, and fluency in English and French. The position emphasizes an analytical mindset, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Finance/Accounting/Business Administration/Economics or related field
- Solid accounting principles and financial process knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP or ERP systems experience a plus
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
- Self-motivated, organized, team-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Academic background being enrolled or recently finished a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
