Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Job Summary
Enter invoices into company software using appropriate GL codes and departmental distribution. Manage cash receipts and application to vendor accounts when payments are received. Collect accounts receivable and manage the aging of all billing while collaborating on grant invoicing functions. Retrieve accounting data to format necessary spreadsheets and assist the CFO in preparing statements, bills, receipts, or checks. Act as backup for payroll and administrative assistant duties. Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure accounts receivable remains current and accurate. Works cooperatively with all departments to perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Three to five years of related accounting experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with Medicaid billing
- Sufficient accounting skills to maintain sales records and reports incidental to store and other department operations
- Knowledge and proficiency in accounting software
- Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software
- Ability to enter data into a spreadsheet
- Ability to create a spreadsheet
- Ability to format a spreadsheet
- Ability to manipulate a spreadsheet
- Ability to employ editing functions of a spreadsheet
