Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Credit Coordinator at HMM accountable for overseeing daily banking transactions (remote deposits, wires, checks), preparing daily cash reports and reconciliations, processing daily AP wire payments and A/R refunds (including VIP refunds), and managing check transaction validation via Positive Pay. Requires inputting bank transactions into SAP, reviewing customer credit documents, running business credit reports, assessing creditworthiness, recommending credit terms, and performing risk-based credit assessments across the commercial portfolio. Collaboration with Sales per SOP to manage credit tasks, and ability to structure credit processing from initial review to final approval while identifying high-risk accounts and taking timely action. Ideal candidate has AR experience, strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), familiarity with ERP/SAP, and strong analytical and communication abilities. Education: college graduates preferred but not required; entry-level with 1-2 years of related experience is acceptable; bilingual (Korean) is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Proven working experience in Accounts Receivable and managing outstanding balances and financial records
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets (advanced Excel skills - pivot tables, v lookups) and accounting software (ERP or SAP)
- Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Bilingual preferred (Korean) but not required
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: College education graduates preferred but not required
