Job Summary
Apply customer payments accurately and timely while generating and emailing invoices, statements, and payment reminders. Monitor accounts receivable aging to follow up on past-due accounts, research payment discrepancies, and assist in gathering documentation for dispute resolutions. Review customer deductions, credits, and chargebacks for accuracy, maintain accurate records, and perform other Accounts Receivable duties as assigned. This part-time role offers 10-15 hours per week initially with potential for additional hours based on business needs. Located on-site in Tacoma, WA, the position supports the department's daily operations and ERP system implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with data entry experience
- Ability to work with sensitive data in a professional manner
- Microsoft Excel skills (data entry, tracking, etc.)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Interest in cars and car care, a plus!
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems, a plus (Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
