Job Summary
Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies, verifying and posting revenue receipts while reconciling ledgers to ensure accurate classification and recording. Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits, then contact clients to resolve payment issues and facilitate invoice payments through bill reminders. Generate financial statements detailing accounts receivable status and work with other departments to assist with client accounts. This role offers cross-training in other accounting areas for a candidate with proven experience in accounts receivable, strong data entry skills, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
Required Qualifications
- Proven working experience in Accounts Receivable
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office, specifically in Excel
- Customer Service Orientation and negotiation skills
- Excellent Communication Skills, verbal and written
- Can-do Attitude and a willingness to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Prior experience with accounting software, preferably eAutomate
