Job Summary
Accounts Receivable Associate at Accor for the Novotel Chennai Sipcot location. Responsible for establishing and maintaining coordination with all hotel departments to optimize cooperation, guest service, and productivity; respond to queries and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction; supervise and coordinate the Accounts Receivable section; process third-party claims and manage maintenance, review, updating, and collection of guest accounts per credit policy; handle refunds, allowances, discounts, and write-offs; investigate special collection problems and advise on credit policy and payment arrangements; recommend transfers of guest accounts to Delinquent Accounts; liaise with other functions to resolve collections issues; assist in preparing reports and analyses to show progress and trends; plan work distribution and ensure adequate staffing; ensure compliance with established practices and update staff on changes and standards; develop and recommend operating policies for the Accounts Receivable section.
