Job Summary
Post and allocate incoming customer payments, prepare invoices and credit notes, and reconcile customer accounts while investigating discrepancies. Resolve open items and payment allocation issues in collaboration with Sales, Customer Care, and Billing to ensure seamless operations. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, prepare financial reports, and contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives. This role requires fluency in German and English, experience with ERP and CRM systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- Several years of experience in Accounts Receivable Accounting or a similar finance role
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Workday)
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced international environment
- Strong communication skills
- Collaborative mindset
- Fluent German
- Fluent English
