Job Summary
Process accurate and timely New Zealand payroll while managing enquiries and ensuring compliance with local legislation. Handle customer invoicing, collections, and accounts receivable reconciliations alongside supplier invoices, payments, and accounts payable. Monitor the finance inbox, complete account reconciliations, and support month-end activities and cash flow management. Collaborate with colleagues across Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines to resolve finance queries and improve processes. This role supports the ANZ finance team at First Focus, Australia's leading managed service provider, where you will build expertise in payroll, accounting, and finance operations within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience processing Australian or New Zealand payroll
- New Zealand experience
- Previous payroll experience
- Experience working with Australian or New Zealand accounting environments
- Exposure to Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence to work with colleagues across multiple countries
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn broader finance responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience processing Australian or New Zealand payroll, New Zealand experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with Xero, iPayroll or similar accounting and payroll systems
