Job Summary
Accounts Payables and Receivables Officer role at IOSH. You will maintain purchase ledgers and supplier accounts, match invoices to orders, process payments (BACS, Direct Debits) and expenses, handle intercompany entries, and ensure timely reporting for stakeholders. Key duties include maintaining AP/AR records, processing expenses and credit card transactions, producing purchase ledger payment runs, and contributing to accurate financial information across ledgers and management accounts. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in AP/AR, strong numeracy for data analysis, proficient IT skills (MS Office and databases), and the ability to work both independently and within a small finance team, with excellent stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer-focused Accounts Payables and/or Accounts Receivables function
- Ability to pay attention to detail and work within guidelines
- Numeracy: ability to analyse data accurately for reporting
- IT-literacy with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills (telephone, email, in person)
