Accounts Payable Team Lead

Job Summary
Process high-volume and complex PO and non-PO invoices, review and post journal entries, and reconcile vendor statements while resolving payment discrepancies. Lead weekly payment cycles, support month-end close activities including reconciliations and accrued expenses, and manage 1099 reporting and audits. Serve as the first point of contact for processing questions, provide training on AP procedures, and assist with onboarding new team members. Identify workflow efficiency opportunities and participate in weekly leadership meetings. This role requires 3+ years of AP experience and strong General Ledger knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience
- Strong General Ledger knowledge and journal entry experience
- Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations
- Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- 1+ years of experience in a lead, supervisory, or mentoring role
