Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary
Process and review vendor invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy through three-way matching of purchase orders, packlists, and invoices. Prepare and process weekly payment runs while reconciling corporate credit card transactions and recording employee out-of-pocket expenses. Resolve discrepancies by reviewing vendor statements and receiving documentation, then maintain vendor files and collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues. Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations, and prepare reports for management and audits. Ensure compliance with all company policies and applicable regulations. This detail-oriented role supports the finance team at Wright Tool Company, a recognized industry leader trusted by the U.S. government for over 75 years.

- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounts payable
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.)
- Ability to stand, sit and walk for the entirety of their shift
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
