Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary
Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for processing, reviewing, and recording invoices and costs; managing vendor payments and PO matters; performing reconciliations and root-cause analysis of AP aging; maintaining financial records and supporting business reports, budgets, and external audits. Collaborates with procurement, legal, and HR to resolve invoice discrepancies, ensures compliance with policies, and supports P2P systems implementation (SAP ECC, ARIBA Ariba Guided Buying). Fluent in Spanish and English (Portuguese a plus); proficient in MS Office and SAP with a customer-service orientation in a multi-national environment.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Business Administration or Accounting is mandatory
- 2-3 years of financial experience as Accounts Payable Sr Analyst or related finance field
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Experience in MS Office (advanced Excel)
- SAP (mandatory) and SAP ECC
- Experience in ARIBA Ariba Guided Buying
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization
- Proactive and reliable with customer service orientation
